Life is a magical thing that can sometimes get a little derailed. Often, you just need someone to shine a light on things to help you get back to the magic. That’s what I’m here for! My goal is to walk alongside you and empower you. I will help you discover your own power to work through things, helping you to unlock your own set of tools. You are the ultimate expert on yourself. With the use of mindfulness and person-centered therapy, we will work together to tackle the obstacles that are blocking your way.
I received my BS in Human Services from Bethel College in Indiana, and I received my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bradley University in Illinois. I am currently working on my Ph.D in Counselor Education and Supervision at the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky and will be graduating in December 2024. My specialties are in trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I am trained in EMDR therapy and would be happy to provide traditional psychotherapy or EMDR therapy.
I have experience with people from many different backgrounds, and I have a strong connection to my community. I strive to provide a safe place for all people, promoting body positivity, supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals, and advocating for the BIPOC community. I have high respect for uniqueness, equality, and diversity. I want to shatter the stigma of counseling by showing the community that mental health and well-being benefits us all. No matter what guidance you are looking for, I am here to be that guide for you!
