AMANDA DEMASO, INTERN
Currently offering pro-bono sessions!
Life and relationships are very complex and can become challenging, especially in our fast paced world today. Throughout our lives, we create stories in relation to those challenges that inform how we interact in the world. My goal is to create a safe space where you can share freely and we can work together to understand how your stories are impacting you as an individual and your relationships. Using a narrative approach, I will help you to identify your strengths and find your voice in re-authoring your life story. After all, you are the expert of your life – I am here to walk alongside you and help you to live in a way that reflects your personal goals and values.
I am a Marriage and Family Therapy student intern, under the supervision of Dr. Becky Nagy and my Capella University faculty supervisor. I am open to working with clients that are experiencing anxiety, depression, stressful life events, overwhelm, life transitions, and relationship issues. I am particularly passionate about working with couples. I enjoy helping couples to develop the skills necessary to build a solid foundation for their life together, as well as couples who are experiencing difficulties and need a little help finding their way back together. I look forward to supporting you on your journey!
